About Duane Sims

I was born a fifth generation Augustan on the final day of the 1959 Masters Golf Tournament.  At the age of two, my family relocated to Amelia Island, FL where I later graduated from Fernandina Beach High School.  I then attended the University of Florida where I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration majoring in Computer Information Sciences.  After college, I accepted a position with IBM in Raleigh, NC where I lived and worked for thirteen years pursuing a career in Information Technology.  I returned to Augusta in 1994 where I continued my IT career for an additional ten years before joining Keller Williams Realty Augusta Partners as a real estate professional licensed in GA and SC. 

I now live on a small farm in Columbia County where I enjoy my horses and dogs and country living.  I enjoy hunting, fishing, tennis, snow skiing, and other outdoor activities.  I've been blessed with a loving and supportive family that enjoys relaxing and sharing holidays together here on the farm.
